You definitely should adore the Catskill Mountains. Doe Brook is a fine local stream, and you can run the rapids of Beaver Kill River. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Catskill Mountain Kampground with nighttime lows in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 30's; night lows in the 10's for Catskill Mountain Kampground. These mountains rock, just explore all the cool things to do in the Catskill Mountains. Ski Plattekill has splendid slopes and a friendly staff, and a visit to Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River is worthwhile. This camp ground is one of the magnificent locations to camp here in the Catskill Mountains. This campground is so magnificent. A tour to Gilbert Lake State Park when you're here at Catskill Mountain Kampground is a wonderful idea, and a splendid site nearby   is Cat Hollow. The caring environment and a good variety of cool things attract folks from far and near. Outdoors people generally fancy this segment of New York. A lot of rain falls at Catskill Mountain Kampground; May is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's more to do close to Catskill Mountain Kampground other than just hanging out such as fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so in all probability you want to stick around. A campground like this is too magnificent to miss. Catskill Mountain Kampground is a campground rather frequently visited by residents of Downsville. If you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Callicoon Creek - North Branch, and a glorious location like Lake Superior State Park is too tremendous to leave out. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Catskill Mountain Kampground. Lakes? Sure, Pepacton Reservoir is in close proximity; Campbell Mountain is clearly visible from Catskill Mountain Kampground. Tremper Kill River is a great whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Catskill Mountain Kampground; Catskill Mountain Kampground is not far at all from Downsville.
