In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Callicoon Creek - East Branch, and naturally Whirling Eddy Brook is
| a scenic stream that is worth going to. The high level of rain makes Beaver-del Campsites a relatively wet location; May is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Upper Delaware Scenic & Recreational River is a very magnificent spot to explore near Beaver-del Campsites, and Callicoon Creek - North Branch is a great whitewater spot nearby. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this location. A pleasant place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Beaver-del Campsites is Beaver Kill River, and | |

a visit to Oquaga Creek State Park is a good idea. This is such a tremendous campground. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Mount Tone is near Beaver-del Campsites; while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby East Branch. Ben Gray Hollow is near Beaver-del Campsites
and is positively a great place to check out; a spree here wouldn’t be complete without a spree to close by Lake Superior State Park. High temperatures at Beaver-del Campsites all through the warm months are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Beaver-del Campsites fall into the 10's.
