Some folks stay at Beaver Pond when going to Harriman State Park. Beaver Pond is a very well liked campground by visitors from Southfields.
You've been indoors for too much time, and Beaver Pond in New York is exactly what you need.
If you fancy the outdoors, you won’t be let down; there's hiking, playing golf, fishing, swimming, and

whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored. So much fun stuff near Beaver Pond, and it is one of scores of splendid campgrounds in this neighborhood. 35 acres of skiable terrain is available at Tuxedo Ridge; blue and green slopes
account for 42% while demanding slopes make up 56% of the slopes. There are delightful slopes for everyone at Tuxedo Ridge. There's a total of 4 lifts at close by ski hill Tuxedo Ridge. Tuxedo Ridge gets covered by 3 feet of snow every season, has a drop from top to bottom of 400 feet, and 7 slopes. The close by type II-III, 7.5-mile-in-distance Route 210 to Ramapo segment of whitewater on Ramapo River is a lot of fun. This segment of Ramapo River is fine for those with a little whitewater rafting and kayaking practice. Whitewater rapids are hazardous matters, so you have to check restrictions before heading out. The sight of Pine Swamp Mountain from Beaver Pond is pretty, and you
beyond doubt have to visit Sterling Forest State Park while you're here. Head out on the pretty water at Willowcove Marina, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Woodtown Trail.
