alps is the most awesome place to camp.they offer everything and anything there. we saw what they did at the 4th of july and the kids loved it. I advice any parents that have have kids to take them there........they WON'T be disapointed Says ed hidley

Trail, and everyone close by loves skiing at Jiminy Peak. Alps Family Campground is loved by the folks of Sand Lake. Cherry Plain State Park is a perfect place to visit on a beautiful day, and do have a look at Pikes Pond, it's a beautiful lake. There's great hiking along the
| Williams Trail, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Poesten Kill River. The yearly rainfall here at Alps Family Campground is about average; throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. The personnel of this fine campground and the huge number of exciting things to do are in themselves reason enough to come here. This campground is always a delight. here. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Alps Family Campground; through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Alps Family Campground dip into the 10's. The fine
local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will certainly have you coming back time and again. Several folks camp here so they can go to Cherry Plain State Park. Grafton Lakes State Park is both tremendous and wonderful, and it's near Alps Family Campground; playing
golf is lots of fun at Burden Lake Country Club. Alps Family Campground in fact is in the middle of a beautiful outdoors paradise. Going for a hike on the Taconic Skyline Trail is always a delightful adventure, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Poesten Kill River. Going for
a camping trip here in New York is something you must do. There's heaps of outdoors recreation available close at hand such as fishing, playing golf, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so you won’t run out of things to do. This is such a fun location for a campground.
Good hiking is available along the Turner Trail, and at Alps Family Campground you always meet someone from Sand Lake. It's been too much time since you went outside, you have to get out, and Alps Family Campground in New York is a fine selection.
