| | alps is the most awesome place to camp.they offer everything and anything there. we saw what they did at the 4th of july and the kids loved it. I advice any parents that have have kids to take them there........they WON'T be disapointed Says ed hidley

| in a year June is the one with the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Jiminy Peak has good slopes and a friendly staff, and you can go for a hike on the Turner Trail. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you'll like Alps Family Campground. When you're here at Alps Family Campground it's always fun to take a look at Cherry Plain State Park, and nearby you find the Brickhouse Mountain Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. New York is such a glorious place. This is such a fun place for a campground. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Poesten Kill River; Grafton Lakes State Park is a wonderful location to stretch your legs a bit. Pikes Hill is a peak you can make out from Alps Family Campground;
going for a hike on the Southeast Hollow Trail is always a fine adventure. Don't leave Alps Family Campground without first going for a hike along the Williams Trail, and lakes are such calm spots, why not stop by Tackawasick Lake. Such a splendid selection of attractions
and so many things to do are good reasons to come. Alps Family Campground is a very popular campground with the residents of Sand Lake. Poesten Kill River has a pleasant whitewater paddling spot nearby, and there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the Taconic Skyline
Trail. So much exciting stuff near Alps Family Campground; if you're looking for a glorious place to go for a weekend of camping, this is a pleasant pick. At Alps Family Campground throughout the days of summer highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's
frequently in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's; overnight lows all through the wintertime for Alps Family Campground tend to be in the 10's. There's lots of outdoors recreation available around here such as swimming, fishing, whitewater paddling,
playing golf, and hiking, so almost certainly you want to stay a bit. Loads of folks stay at Alps Family Campground for the purpose of being close to Cherry Plain State Park. Going for a weekend of camping here in New York is something you have to do.
