You truly shouldn't be in a building every day; you need to get out sometimes, and Allegany is a tremendous local campground if you happen to be in New York. Beaver Ponds is a brilliant lake next to Allegany, and the Hedgehog Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. This is a popular place for folks from Warren, and there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Clark Trail. Allegany is an old favorite with people from Irvine. Chapman State Park. This is in fact a fine campground. There's whitewater on Clarion River for all you adrenaline people; on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Rocky Gap Trail Bike Trail. During the summer months here at Allegany, high temperatures regularly get into
the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Allegany temperatures sink to the 10's. Camping in New York is such an enjoyable thing to do. Quite a lot of cool
things to do near Allegany, and campgrounds like these are tremendous. There are some great whitewater spots on East Branch Millstone Creek, and Chapman State Park is worth going to.
