Adirondack Gateway Campground, New York   Our campground is situated on 166 acres with 3 miles of trails. There are 3 ponds amongst the trails, 1 with goldfish and 2 catch and release withwide mouthed bass. There are a golf driving range, volley ball net, horseshoes, rec hall, swimming pool, book exchange, wifi hot spot, and hayrides. Our hayrides guide you through the neighboring farm. We drive through the sugarbush. Maple syrup from the farm is for sale in the store. While doing your laundry you can bring you computer and sit in the lounge to catch up on your email, watch a movie, play a game,     read a book or browse through the antiques qnd gifts. You can kick back or stay busy. Firewood and ice available on site. We aim to please. Our prices are reasonable. We are 19 miles Northeast of Utica. We are in the Town of Norway just above Cold Brook about 1/2 mile off of Rt. 8. Turn right 2 streets beyond The Norway sign onto Hall Rd. Follow to the end and make a left. We are the second property on the right, 244 Burt Rd. 13324 Adirondack Gateway Campground is right by the Stone Dam Trail; McCauley Mountain is a nice local ski area. Get wet paddling on West Canada Creek, and Pixley Falls State Park is a wonderful place to go. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Twin Lakes Trail, and of course, everyone loves Glimmerglass State Park. This is a great area for people who like lakes. Black Creek Reservoir   is a lake around here. And if that's not sufficient, there's heaps more to do near Adirondack Gateway Campground. At Adirondack Gateway Campground you always meet someone from Newport, and float down the rapids of Black River in a kayak. Summer at Adirondack Gateway Campground arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. During the winter the highs are regularly in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Adirondack Gateway Campground. Adirondack Gateway Campground gets much water; September is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. A lot of fun is at this campground. Newport Golf Club Of is a golf course near Adirondack Gateway Campground, and pleasant hiking is available along the Party Trail. There's fine hiking along the California Trail; Tygert Swamp is a swamp near Adirondack Gateway Campground. This campground has so unbelievably much. The Forty Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best, and obviously Mounts Creek flows through this area.
