| | Going for a hike on the Elk Creek Trail is always a great adventure, and a trip to Heron Lake State Park is a magnificent idea. You completely should like the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Don't leave Twin Rivers Trailer Park without first going for a hike along the Posos Trail, and a spree to El Vado Lake State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. Get drenched paddling on Rio Chama, and there is a brilliant hiking trail nearby called the La Manga Stock Driveway.
