This campground is a wonderful location to explore. The Atalaya Trail offers hiking at its best, and Ski Santa Fe is a pleasant local ski area. Trailer Ranch is pretty waterless usually; the month with
most of the rain is August; February on the other hand is the driest.
Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the vicinity of Trailer Ranch. A visit to Hyde Memorial State Park when you're here at Trailer Ranch is never a bad idea; going for a hike along the Chamiza
Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area.
