with nighttime lows in the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's; nighttime lows at Taos Valley RV Park all through the wintertime usually drop into the 0's. This is really a nice campground. Why not check out nearby Rio Chiquito since you're here at Taos Valley RV Park, and Coyote Creek State Park is a good spot. The friendly folks working here and the splendid facilities are reason enough to come here.
New Mexico is a great outdoors state. Get drenched paddling on Rio Grande, and don't leave Taos Valley RV Park without first
 
going for a hike along the Kit Carson Trail. Paddling on Rio Pueblo de Taos is so much fun, and you can go for a hike on the North End Trail.
Since you're here at Taos Valley RV Park why not stop by Ojitos Canyon. This campground is so wonderful. A wonderful lake like Talpa Reservoir right next door to Taos Valley RV Park is a good spot to stop by, and Sipapu Ski is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. Near Taos Valley RV Park you stumble on the Simpson Memorial Trail which is a fine hiking trail; get yourself into a kayak and hit Rio Grande.
There's such an incredible array of things to do at Taos Valley RV Park including whitewater paddling, swimming, hiking, and fishing, so you won’t get bored. All the pleasant local attractions nearby and such an incredible array of things to do are guaranteed to keep you coming back time and again. Going for a hike on the Comales Sheep Driveway is always a delightful adventure; there are plenty of folks from Taos here.
