Nearby there is a perfect 3.5-mile-from-start-to-finish grade V+ whitewater section, the to Taos Junction Bridge portion of Rio Pueblo de Taos. Don't go kayak paddling on this section of Rio Pueblo de Taos unless you feel your kayak paddling abilities are very perfect. Unsurprisingly, kayak paddling is amusing but treacherous; check restrictions before heading out. Take a hike on the Simpson Memorial Trail, and it's a great idea to       have a look at Rio Chiquito. There's magnificent hiking along the Devisadero Peak Loop Trail, and enjoy a round of golf at Valle Escondido Golf Course. This campground is always a bliss. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Taos   RV Park; Comales Sheep Driveway is a wonderful local trail. While you're here at Taos RV Park you can play some golf at Taos Country Club, and you can never get enough of the good skiing at Sipapu.
