this is a magnificent scene for RV-ing. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can go water skiing here. This campground is a glorious location for boating, and in the laundromat you could wash your outfits. A fun
| | | thing to do here is jet skiing; there's a tremendous restaurant here that will stop your hunger. The sailing is great here on windy days, and a store is on hand for your convenience here at Stone House Lodge. There's a magnificent 15-mile-from-start-to-finish grade I-III whitewater segment on Rio Chama close by, the Los Ojos to El Vado Lake portion. a trip on the whitewater, otherwise it's not secure. Here at Stone House Lodge there are plenty of folks from Tierra Amarilla, and of course Rio Brazos is a pretty stream that is worth checking out. Yeah, come up here to the San Juan

and Jemez Mountains for a glorious time. Lakes are such serene locations, why not explore Heron Reservoir near Stone House Lodge, and Heron Lake State Park is a splendid place. The surroundings of this campground have so many things to offer. Brood Pond Number Three Dam is worth a visit while you're here, and a trip to El Vado Lake State Park invigorates the soul.
