Don't leave Stone House Lodge without first going for a hike along the Hart Trail, and hey, Rio Brazos is a glorious local stream. it is a very glorious campground. With such an incredible array of things to do in New Mexico you'll never get bored. Not much rain falls here at Stone House Lodge; August is the month that gets the most rain; May is when it's the driest. Several folks stay here when they come to explore Heron Lake State Park.
