New Mexico has such a large number of things to offer nature lovers. The 7 good ski lifts at the nearby ski resort Red River carry skiers up to the tops of the 58 runs at Red River. This nearby ski resort gets covered by 18 feet of fluffy snow yearly and has a drop from top to bottom of 1,600 feet. 290 acres of skiing land is offered at Red River; easy runs account for 70% while red and black runs make up 30% of the runs. There are delightful runs
 
    for everyone at Red River. Taos is a splendid ski area with 1,294 acres of ski terrain. 51% of the ski trails are red and black and 49% are green and blue. There's a total of 13 different ski lifts at close by ski area Taos. Taos
  gets blanketed by 25 feet of beautiful snow per year, has a drop of 2,612 feet, and 110 ski trails. One of the main highlights of the surroundings of Roadrunner Campground is Sawmill Mountain. Take a side trip to Mallette Creek; a trip to Coyote Creek State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. This campground is a pretty site to pop by. During a wintertime visit to Roadrunner Campground you could also stop by Bobcat Pass Wilderness ADVNTRS and rent a snow mobile.
