Go for a hike on the Notch Trail, and since you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Chama. splendid attraction for lots of folks. If you like the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's whitewater paddling, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Rio Chama RV Campground sees pretty high levels of rain; the wettest month of the
year is frequently March, that's the one that snows the most, and June is when it's the driest. This is really a good campground. There is a great hiking trail close to Rio Chama RV Campground called the Red Lake Trail. The splendid variety of local attractions and such a splendid
variety of outdoors recreation are magnificent causes to come. This campground is so charming. Little Willow Creek is a glorious local stream; get wet paddling on Rio de los Brazos. Loads of folks stay at this campground to take a look at close by Heron Lake State Park. At
Rio Chama RV Campground all through the summer months highs are in the 60's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Rio Chama RV Campground tend to be in the 0's.
