These mountains rock, just look at all the enjoyable things to do in the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Paddling on Red River is so much fun, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Devisadero Peak Loop Trail. If you want a magnificent time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Get dripping wet paddling on Rio Grande; the Simpson Memorial Trail is a good hiking trail nearby. |

| the Kit Carson Trail is always a splendid adventure, and a visit here wouldn’t be complete without a visit to nearby Coyote Creek State Park. This camp ground is located in the stunning Sangre De Cristo Mountains. Gallina Creek is a stream that you may run into while here, and close by you discover the Number 3 Lift Trail which is a magnificent hiking trail. August is when you get the most rain here; January meanwhile is the driest month. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to New Buffalo. At New Buffalo you always meet someone from Arroyo Seco, and you can go for a hike on the Twining Blue Lake
Trail. The folks who look after the campground and the extremely admirably operated facilities will make you feel tremendous. Coming to this campground is always a nice idea. Hit the slopes at Taos in close proximity, and Cimarron Canyon State Park is worth checking out. For
the duration of the warmest time of the year at New Buffalo highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at New Buffalo
