Jemez Falls - Santa Fe National Forest, San Juan and Jemez Mountains, New Mexico

  A number of people stay at this campground for the purpose of being right next door to Fenton Lake State Park. All through the warm days of summer at Jemez Falls highs are usually in the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Jemez Falls are in the 0's. There's plenty of outdoors recreation available nearby such as hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so you won’t run out of things to do.
The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery
    is always striking. The Capulin Trail offers hiking at its best, and some interesting geology is available here, Banco Bonito is right here.
Jemez Falls is loved by campers from Ponderosa. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Pajarito Mountain. It's
been too long since you went outside, you have to get out of the house, and Jemez Falls in New Mexico is such a fine spot.
New Mexico has such a large number of things to offer nature lovers. The surroundings of this campground have such a vast number of things to offer. Good hiking is available along the Padre Alonzo Trail. Lakes are nice; Lower Vallecito Reservoir is a lake that's next to Jemez Falls. This place rules, just explore all the entertaining things to do close to Jemez Falls. Jemez Falls is near Fenton Lake State Park which is a delightful
 
site, and a perfect site to have a look at close by is Vallecitos de los Indios.
A wonderful site for whitewater paddling near Jemez Falls is Jemez River, and lots of folks from Ponderosa come here. This is in fact a great campground. Don't miss out on a visit to Bandelier National Monument while you're here at Jemez Falls, and there's glorious hiking along the Bland Bear Springs Trail.
So many entertaining things to do in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, not enough time. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Valle Trail; if you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Chama. This site, the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Rio Grande is a brilliant whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Jemez Falls, and Jemez Falls is right by the Pajarito Canyon Trail. All the splendid local attractions nearby and the nearby outdoors recreation are fine reasons to come.
The caring folks working here and all the nice passtime activities have folks coming here. Jemez Falls gets very little rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is April. So much amusing stuff next to Jemez Falls, and it is a fun spot for everyone.
