Jemez Falls - Santa Fe National Forest, New Mexico

  Jemez Falls is a very popular old favorite campground among the people from Santa Fe. Summertime highs at Jemez Falls commonly tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 50's. For the period of the winter the highs are ordinarily in the 30's, and overnight lows at Jemez Falls through the wintertime regularly drop into the 10's. Quite a lot of amusing things to do in the neighborhood of Jemez Falls; being here is fine fun any time.
This campground has so much. Go for a hike on the Chamiza Trail, and whitewater paddling
    is good on Rio Grande.
Going for a hike on the Atalaya Trail is always a delightful adventure; Santa Fe National Forest is a nice spot. Not much rain falls here at Jemez Falls; most of the rain falls through August while February is regularly the driest month. If you come to
this campground, you will have a fine time for sure. There is a fine hiking trail near Jemez Falls called the Saint Johns Trail; for you golfers we recommend close by Santa Fe Country Club.
The snow is perfect at Ski Santa Fe, and if you've had enough of Jemez Falls, Talaya Hill Reservoir is close by. And that's not all you can do here at Jemez Falls. Santa Fe National Historic Trail is a splendid local destination here at Jemez Falls, and places like Hyde Memorial State Park are good to stop by. New Mexico is a fine place for campers.
On a great
 
day at Jemez Falls you can take a hike along the Atalaya Trail, and if you have time, Bandelier National Monument is a national park worth taking a look at. There are good spots to explore along the Thompson Peak Trail. Several people opt for this campground for the purpose of being right next door to Santa Fe National Historic Trail.
The perfect selection of local attractions, and such a large number of things to do are certain to keep you coming back persistently. If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Santa Cruz, and at Jemez Falls you always meet someone from Santa Fe. Ok, it's been too much time since you went outside, time has come to get out; Jemez Falls, New Mexico is a fine place for getting out.
Among the things you can do close to Jemez Falls are swimming, fishing, hiking, playing golf, and whitewater paddling, so it's just not possible to get bored. The kind people working here and a delightful variety of amusing things beat anything.
