When was the last time you went camping for a couple of days? Herron Store is a pleasant local campground if you happen to be in New Mexico. During the months of summer here at Herron Store, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Herron Store throughout the winter typically sink into the 0's.

great time. Heron Lake State Park is a tremendous location to stretch your legs a bit, and whitewater paddling is great on Rio de los Brazos. Scores of people select this campground to pop by nearby Heron Lake State Park. This is such a lovely campground. Places like El Vado Lake
State Park are brilliant to stop at; Herron Store is a spot with many visitors from Tierra Amarilla.
Camping in New Mexico is such an enjoyable thing to do. Herron Store gets very little rain; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and May is the month with the least moisture.
