It is very waterless here at Downs Motel ordinarily; August is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is April. This campground has everything. The snow is wonderful at Ski Apache, and good hiking is available along the Cedar Creek Trail.     At Downs Motel throughout the long summer days highs are in the 90's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's usually in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Downs Motel. The tremendous variety of local attractions and the tremendous variety of outdoors recreation are sure to keep you coming back again and again. There are other places here than Downs Motel, for example Seeping Springs Lakes, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Downs Motel; Wet Mills Trail is a great local trail. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the amusing stuff you can do is hiking, fishing, and swimming, so running out of exciting stuff to do won’t happen. At Downs Motel amusing stuff to do is plentiful, and to be at this place is splendid fun any time. Near Downs Motel you discover Palo   Verde Canyon which is a magnificent location to take a look at, and the North Eagle Trail offers hiking at its best. The staff that runs this campground and the perfect facilities makes the visit here worthwhile. What a place this is for outdoors people. Lincoln National Forest is worth a visit if you're at Downs Motel, and there are great sites to explore along the Dry Mills Trail. Now, you may feel that's lots but there's even more enjoyable things to do here in the Sacramento Mountains. If you're dropping by Downs Motel from Glencoe, you won't be the only one; you can go for a hike on the Perk Ridge Trail.
