Jemez River has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Sandia Peak is quite near. Deadman Campground is right by the Embudo Trail, and a golf course nearby is University of New Mexico Golf Course. Through the warmest time of the year, highs usually are in the 90's at Deadman Campground. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. The wintertime comes with
| highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Deadman Campground. This campground is always a bliss. The Embudito Trail offers hiking at its best, and Deadman Campground is a spot with many visitors from Corrales. As if Deadman Campground wasn't sufficient, you can also go playing golf, hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so you won’t run out of things to do. delight, and close by Pino Canyon is a brilliant place to go. Not much rain falls here at Deadman Campground; the month with most of the rain is August while November is frequently the driest month. Take a hike on the Pino Trail. Deadman Campground is a top selection campground
with folks from Corrales. In New Mexico you never run out of outdoors entertaining stuff. Lots of folks stay at this campground in order to be right next door to Petroglyph National Monument. There's splendid hiking along the La Luz Trail; spots like Manzano Mountains State
Park are good to explore. The panoramas at Petroglyph National Monument will blow your mind, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Ellis Trail. This is a great area for folks who like lakes. Gonzales Reservoir is a lake close at hand, and if you're here and you like golf, you can have a look at Los Altos Golf Course. The pleasant reception and the loads of entertaining stuff to do beat anything.
