Bonito Campground, Sacramento Mountains, New Mexico   It's not possible to get bored in New Mexico if you have a thing about the outdoors. So many fun things in close proximity to Bonito Campground; spending time at this campground is fantastically fun. During the warm months here at Bonito Campground, high temperatures commonly get into the 90's while night lows are commonly in the 60's. Around Bonito Campground you don’t get a lot of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is April. There are great sites to explore along the Perk Ridge Trail, and Coal Mine Canyon is a glorious spot to explore. But wait, there's   more amusing things to do in the Sacramento Mountains. The Dry Mills Trail is a brilliant hiking trail near Bonito Campground; you'll possibly meet some folks from Alto here. This campground is so delightful. Near Bonito Campground you discover the Wet Mills Trail which is a nice hiking trail; going for a hike on the Cedar Creek Trail is always a perfect adventure. Outdoors recreation is bountiful, some of the fun stuff you can do is fishing, swimming, and hiking, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Ski Apache has tremendous slopes and a friendly staff, and lakes are such calm spots, why not visit Ruidoso Reservoir. A campground like this is too delightful to miss. So much fun stuff to do here at Bonito Campground, too glorious to be true. Don't leave Bonito Campground without first going for a hike along the North Eagle Trail; High Mesa is clearly visible from Bonito Campground.
