Rabbit Patch Camp Ground generally gets a large amount of rainfall; the month of May is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month is February. Going for a hike on the Bald Hill
Trail is always a glorious adventure, and close by you hit upon the Bald Barren Trail which is a nice hiking trail.
Why not take a look at Hendershots Point also while you're here, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Flat Ridge Trail. This is beyond doubt a great
campground. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Muckshaw Ponds; you can go for a hike on the Maple Brook Trail.
Get drenched paddling on Paulins Kill River, and Delaware National Scenic River is a nice site close by. Rabbit Patch
Camp Ground is incredibly popular with the folks from Newton. The nice local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are good reasons to come.
New Jersey is a wonderful place for campers. Any time is a brilliant time at Rabbit Patch Camp Ground if you have a thing about
the outdoors. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Hornbeck's Creek.
