Our family-owned campground sits on 23 acres in Rindge on Lake Contoocook. We have 125 campsites allowing us to accommodate your cozy tent or large RV; all sites have a table and fire-ring. Cabin and boat rentals are available; as well as firewood, groceries and propane without leaving camp. Enjoy our on-site |
amenities, boat dock, lake fishing, horseshoes, volleyball, pool, playground, arcade, etc. or join us for planned events.
We welcome individuals and families for weekend, vacation or seasonal camping. Family pets are welcome without any additional fees. Small and large groups

At Woodmore Campground you can make out Whitcomb Hill, and going for a hike along the Harling Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. You assume that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Otter River State Forest is a great location; Contoocook Lake Dam is
a delightful spot, certainly worth stopping at. The slopes of Crotched Mountain are so inviting noone can resist, and places like Monadnock State Park are great to have a look at. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Woodmore Campground, and the overnight is
slightly chillier of course, frequently in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Woodmore Campground.
Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the neighborhood of Woodmore Campground. If you're here at Woodmore
Campground and you like golf, you can stop by Shattuck Golf Course. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Contoocook River - North Branch; Woodmore Campground is right by the Parker Trail. This is truly a nice campground. There's some flowing
water nearby, Mountain Brook is a stream you can visit during your stay, and if you come at the right time of year, Ashuelot River - South Branch offers some good whitewater.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Contoocook River; on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the
Pumpelly Trail. Nearby lakes? Sure, Black Reservoir is in the neighborhood of Woodmore Campground, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Cascade Link Trail. This campground is so picturesque. You'll meet a lot of folks from Rindge here, and hiking along the Wapack
Trail is wonderful fun.
Woodmore Campground gets a typical amount of yearly rainfall; most of the rain falls all through May while February is frequently the driest month.
