Sun River Campground, New Hampshire   Have been here a couple of times and its the best! We go with a group and get all the sites near the river/stream (perhaps the river/stream is Sun River)and its wonderful!!! No need to worry about the kids and/or dogs bothering anyone and they can just play in the water, fish, look for frogs, float on their tubes, etc. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, and the facilities are clean!!! We've stayed here a number of years and I couldn't ask for more from a camp ground . . . you're camping but still have all the conveniences right at hand! The spot     we get near the water is by far the best! Country store is close and, for those who are interested, I can even use my cell phone (only if necessary, of course)without getting cut off! Thumbs up to Sun River Camp Ground!!! Says T As if Sun River Campground wasn't enough, you can also go hiking, swimming, whitewater paddling, fishing, and playing golf, so there's absolutely no way to get bored. The caring reception and the exceptionally perfectly operated facilities will make you feel good. This campground has so many cool things to offer. On a nice day at Sun River Campground you can take a hike along the Onemile Trail, and the snow is wonderful at Gunstock. A normal amount of rain falls here at Sun River Campground; the wettest month of the year is mostly November, that's the one that rains the most, and February   meanwhile is the driest month. High temperatures at Sun River Campground through the summer months are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's; after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Sun River Campground drop into the 0's. Sun River Campground is positioned in a region with a lot of amusing things to do, and you always have a perfect time when you're here. A number of people pick Sun River Campground when going to Bear Brook State Park. You've gotta get out, and Sun River Campground, New Hampshire is a perfect location for getting out. Such a good pick of attractions and such a great deal of things to do are brilliant reasons to come. Sun River Campground is esteemed by the people in Barnstead. Here at Sun River Campground there are plenty of people from Barnstead, and if you're a golfer then a glorious nearby course is Nippo Lake Golf Club. If you come to this campground, you will have a splendid time for sure. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Suncook River, and a spree to Bear Brook State Park when you're here is never a bad idea. If the weather is great here at Sun River Campground, you can go for a hike along the Catamount Trail, and you absolutely must go to Pawtuckaway State Park since you're here. There is a great hiking trail in the neighborhood of Sun River Campground called the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail, and do visit Upper Suncook Lake, it's a gorgeous lake. This sector of New Hampshire is always a delight to pop by during camping season. Whohoo, so many amusing things in one place! Sun River Campground rules! Perry Brook is a brilliant local stream, and get dripping wet paddling on Little Suncook. While you're here at Sun River Campground you can take a hike along the Campground Trail; there's always Suncook Lake Dam to explore in the vicinity of Sun River Campground.
