Sheomet Lake is a nearby lake that you could check out, and Ashuelot River - South Branch is a pleasant whitewater spot close by. A campground like this is too great to miss. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Millers River, and the White Dot Trail offers hiking at its best.
