Saddleback Campground is a small, family owned and operated campground located away from the hustle and bustle of normal everyday life where Mother Nature supplies our amenities. All of our camp sites have a view of our spring |
fed pond where you can swim or fish (no license required). Our camp sites are very large and naturally shaded by trees. We have sites to accomodate every person's idea of camping, from tents to a 50 foot motor home.

on Suncook River for all you adrenaline junkies. What a place this is for outdoors folks. The slopes of McIntyre are so inviting nobody can resist, and going for a hike along the Broken Boulder Smith Pond Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This
campground is so beautiful. If the weather is pleasant here at Saddleback Campground, you can go for a hike along the Catamount Trail; dropping by Bear Brook State Park is a magnificent thing to do. If you come at the right time of year, Little Suncook offers some wonderful whitewater,
and hiking along the Campground Trail is wonderful fun. Wheeler Hill is a peak you can make out from Saddleback Campground, and the Onemile Trail is a good hiking trail close by. The amount of rain that falls at Saddleback Campground is close to the national average; through
the month of November you get the most rain around here, and January on the other hand is the driest. Summertime highs at Saddleback Campground ordinarily tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are ordinarily in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 20's; overnight
lows in the 0's for Saddleback Campground. This is beyond doubt a brilliant campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Suncook River, and almost certainly you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Lucas Pond is just a very short distance away.
