| | A lot of fun is at this campground. While you're here at Saco River Camping Area you can play some golf at North Conway Country Club, and you can go for a hike on the Cow Brook Trail. At Saco River Camping Area you always meet someone from North Conway. There's so much to do at Saco River Camping Area including playing golf, whitewater paddling, and hiking, so probably you want to stay a bit. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Saco River - East Branch; White Mountain National Forest is worth checking out. |
The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Cranmore Mountain, and you can run the rapids of Ellis River. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Saco River Camping Area. There's whitewater on Swift River for all you adrenaline rush seekers,
| and nearby you find the Bruce Path which is a nice hiking trail. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more exciting stuff to do here in the White Mountains. Going for a hike on the Mount Pequawket Trail is always a fine adventure, and if the weather is pretty, you get a splendid vista of Mount Surprise from Saco River Camping Area. Lake State Park. This campground is a perfect spot to stop at. Everybody loves White Lake State Park; there is a pleasant hiking trail close by called the Number Five Ski Trail. At last, it's time for a camping trip again, and Saco River Camping Area is a perfect local campground
if you happen to be in New Hampshire. All the great local attractions close by and all the outdoors recreation will make you happy you came. During the months of summer here at Saco River Camping Area, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures
