During the summertime months at Saco River Camping Area temperatures are typically in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Saco River Camping Area dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. A spree to White Mountain National Forest when you're here at Saco River Camping Area is a nice idea, and you'll probably meet some folks from North Conway here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Saco River - East Branch; do take a hike on the Cow Brook Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Swift River; North Conway Country Club is a golf course close by. Some of the things you can do here at Saco River Camping Area are fishing, playing golf, swimming, hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t run out of things to do.
