Excellent campground!Nice pond. Mostly seasonal sites but had primitive area out back for tenting. Very peacfull. My only complaint was with one of the annual campers. Real jerk, he kept saying Hey Man every five seconds Says Hey Man

| for some flowing water? Try Amey Brook. Rock' N Birch Campground gets a large amount of water; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is January. So much amusing stuff in the vicinity of Rock' N Birch Campground, completely phenomenal. Going for a hike on the Old Country Road is always a brilliant adventure. Good hiking is available along the Monadnock Sunapee Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Blackwater River.

rapids of Contoocook River in a kayak, naturally you could also go to French Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. Rollins State Park is a great site to stretch your legs a bit, and there is a perfect hiking trail nearby called the Wilmot Trail. Go for a hike on the Wapack
Trail; an afternoon playing golf at Duston Country Club Golf Course is always a diversion.
This is a magnificent campground. On a lovely day you acquire a vista of Foster Hill from Rock' N Birch Campground, and Chaney Hill State Forest is a good local forest. Winslow State
Park is a gorgeous place any time of year, and Rock' N Birch Campground is not far at all from Henniker. Summertime at Rock' N Birch Campground comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down
to the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Rock' N Birch Campground temperatures dip to the 0's.
Having a brilliant time at Rock' N Birch Campground is uncomplicated. You don’t have to go far from Rock' N Birch Campground to catch a glimpse of the water at Grassy Pond Dam, and a golf course nearby is Oak Brook Golf Course.
