When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Pine Haven Campground   descend into the 0's. Pine Haven Campground is right by the Three Ponds Trail, and you acquire a good view of Beech Hill from here. While you're here at Pine Haven Campground you can take a hike along the Three Ponds Trail, and while you're here, you could stop by Atwell Brook. Be careful coming to Pine Haven Campground, you might not ever want to return home again. Have a splendid hiking adventure along the Rattlesnake Mountain Trail, and Cardigan State Park is a beautiful spot any time of year. This campground is a great place to pop by. Drift down the rapids of Pond Brook River in a kayak, and Wellington State Beach is a glorious place to take a look at. Pine Haven Campground gets a normal amount of rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Some folks stay here in order to be near Cardigan State Park.
