Mile/Away Campground, New Hampshire Custom Search   Hope you love fishing, the fishing is great , and your little ones won’t get bored here at Mile/Away Campground, there are children's endeavors. There's a great playground at Mile/Away Campground to keep the kids cheery. Fires are allowed here. There's a great 710-foot drop from top to bottom to enjoy at the nearby ski mountain Pats Peak. Pats Peak gets covered by 6 feet of wonderful snow per winter, and has 8 good ski lifts serving the 21 slopes. The intermediate or beginner slopes       account for 68% of the slopes at Pats Peak; no wonder this ski mountain is such a great spot. The demanding slopes make up 32% of the 72 acres of skiable land at Pats Peak. Nearby there is a nice 2-mile-long type II(III) whitewater   bit, the Henniker portion of Contoocook River. This bit of Contoocook River is suggested for whitewater boaters of medium familiarity. Unsurprisingly, whitewater boating is cool but treacherous; check conditions before you go.
