You can never get enough of the great skiing at Mount Sunapee, and you can go for a hike on the Dartmouth Outing Club Trail. People from Sunapee love to come to Loon Lake Campground, and going for a hike on the Monadnock Sunapee Trail is always a nice adventure. This is no place for people who don’t like to have     a good time. Sugar River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by, and a day at Dewey Beach is time well spent. So many local attractions and the close by outdoors recreation are guaranteed to keep you coming back persistently. Loon Lake Campground is a very popular old favorite campground among the residents of Sunapee. The helpful operators of the campground and the well kept up facilities will make you feel nice. Outdoors recreation is abundant, some of the exciting stuff you can do is fishing, hiking, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so it's not possible to get bored. This campground is so wonderful. When you're here at Loon Lake Campground it's always fun to explore Pillsbury State Park, and there's good hiking along the West Ridge Trail. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always   go whitewater paddling on Croyden Brook, and there's some flowing water close by, Ledge Pond Brook is a stream you can check out while you're here. Coming to this campground is always a splendid idea. Whitewater paddling is great on Mascoma River, and Loon Lake Campground is next to Mount Sunapee State Park which is a wonderful spot. Loon Lake Campground is a good site of typical rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Loon Lake Campground is to be found in an area with scores of entertaining things to do, and being here is always fun. Long Pond Brook Dam is worth checking out since you're here, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Loon Lake Campground; Clark Pond Loop is a brilliant local trail. Looking for something close to Loon Lake Campground? Lake Sunapee is close by, and don't leave Loon Lake Campground without first going for a hike along the Wilmot Trail. A lot of people camp here when they come to stop by Dewey Beach. Bald Mountain can be distinguished from Loon Lake Campground, and during your stay here do stop by nearby State Park Beach. For the period of the summer months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Loon Lake Campground. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Loon Lake Campground. Camping in New Hampshire is such a fun thing to do.
