There are 10 different ski lifts at Bretton Woods, and the height difference is 1,500 feet. A great 4.7-mile-long whitewater bit on Israel River is nearby. This, the Riverton to Lancaster segment, is a class II. The Riverton   to Lancaster segment of Israel River is appropriate for raft paddlers who haven't been whitewater kayaking and rafting for so long. Whitewater rapids are hazardous occurrences, so you have to check circumstances previous to going. Go ahead and take the little ones to MT Washington Cog Railway while you're here at Jefferson Campground.
