Ski down the 45 ski trails of Gunstock; this       ski mountain has a drop from top to bottom of 1,400 feet. Gunstock has 8 good ski lifts and receives on average 8 feet of beautiful snow yearly. The Upper section is a wonderful 2.1-mile-from-start-to-finish grade I-II section of   whitewater on Winnipesaukee River. This section of Winnipesaukee River is well suited for paddlers who haven't been whitewater kayaking or rafting for so long. Whitewater kayaking and rafting can become perilous, so check restrictions in advance of a trip. Take the young ones on a number of enjoyable rides at close by Half Moon.
