| | Ok, you've been cooped up for too much time, you need to get out of the house, and Hancock in New Hampshire is such a magnificent site. That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Hancock has it all. A day at wonderful Endicott Park Beach in close proximity to Hancock is a nice thing to do, and there are splendid places to explore along the Ridge Trail. This campground is so good. Sargent Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Winnipesaukee River. A campground like this is too good to miss. Wellington |
State Beach is a delightful spot to stretch your legs a bit. Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. You should check out Dixon Point when you're here at Hancock, and don't forget to take a good little tour to Jewett Brook. Several folks choose Hancock all through their
| trip to Endicott Park Beach. With so many things to do in New Hampshire you'll never get bored. All the great local attractions nearby and such a great variety of outdoors recreation will undeniably have you coming back persistently. On a delightful day you can stop at Gilford Beach in close proximity to Hancock, and at Avery Dam near Hancock there are some attention-grabbing things to see. much amusing stuff near Hancock, and camping is such an enjoyable activity, and this is a magnificent site to do that. Laconia Country Club is a golf course close to Hancock, and close by you discover the Butterworth Trail which is a good hiking trail. At Hancock through the
warm days of summer highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Hancock drop into the 0's. There's a heap of outdoors recreation
available nearby such as playing golf, hiking, fishing, whitewater paddling, and swimming, so running out of entertaining things to do won’t happen. At this campground you will always have a good time. There is a good hiking trail in the neighborhood of Hancock called the Rattlesnake
Trail; Hancock is close to Bear Brook State Park which is a pretty site. The pleasant workforce and the loveliness of the site are in themselves reason enough to come here. Hancock is often visited by folks of Belmont. Now, you may imagine that's a load but there's even more
entertaining stuff to do here in the White Mountains. Opechee Bay Tract is a pleasant local forest, and an afternoon playing golf at Lake View Golf Club is always a delight. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. Don't leave Hancock without first
going for a hike along the Col Trail, and get covered with water paddling on Merrimack River. And if that's not enough there's heaps more entertaining things to do in the White Mountains. Lots of people from Belmont come to Hancock; going for a hike on the Pasture Trail is always
a tremendous adventure. All the water falling down from the sky makes Hancock a wet location; November is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February.
