Some activities here at Hack-ma-tack Camping Area are fishing, whitewater paddling, swimming,   hiking, and playing golf, so perhaps you want to stick around for a while. Hack-ma-tack Camping Area is a popular spot with folks in Meredith. This camp ground is situated in the pretty White Mountains. Green and blue runs make up 75% of the runs at Gunstock, and difficult ones make up 25%. There is a total of 220 acres of terrain; Gunstock is a great site to ski. There's a great 1,400-foot vertical drop to take pleasure in at the nearby ski hill Gunstock.       Gunstock gets covered by 8 feet of white snow per year, and has 8 great ski lifts serving the 45 runs. Winnipesaukee River has a close by whitewater section; the Upper portion is a delightful 2.1-mile-from-beginning-to-end type I-II   section of whitewater. This section of Winnipesaukee River is recommended for beginner whitewater boaters. Of course, whitewater rafting or kayaking is exciting but hazardous; check current conditions previous to going.
