All the water falling down from the sky makes Ferndale Acres a wet spot; through the month of November you get the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Get soaked paddling on Great Works River; Ferndale Acres is not the only location close by, Lamprey River Reservoir is a close by lake. This campground is a fine location to visit. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Bradford is in close proximity to Ferndale Acres.

Throughout the days of summer at Ferndale Acres temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and night lows in the 10's for Ferndale Acres. There's such a vast number of things to do close to Ferndale Acres, and it is a delightful campground.

There's more to do near Ferndale Acres other than just hanging out such as playing golf, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. Lots of folks from Durham come to Ferndale Acres; a journey to Pawtuckaway State Park
is a magnificent idea. For you golfers we recommend close by Hickory Pond Inn & Golf Course; it's a nice idea to pop by Chelsey Brook.
The welcoming surroundings and the abundance of cool stuff to do are pretty impressive. Loads of fun is at this campground. Wednesday Hill
is clearly visible from Ferndale Acres; whitewater paddling is fine on Little River.
While you're here at Ferndale Acres it's a pleasant idea to visit Spruce Hole, also Packers Falls Dam is worth checking out since you're here. If you are in New Hampshire during camping season, you should go camping.
