| people from Durham love to come here. Some folks stay here for the purpose of being near Vaughan Woods Memorial State Park. Ferndale Acres is incredibly popular with folks of Durham. There's some out of the ordinary stuff to see at Packers Falls Dam next to Ferndale Acres, and don't leave without dropping by Vaughan Woods Memorial State Park. time for sure. Get your heart beating on the magnificent whitewater of Atlantic Ocean; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Hickory Pond Inn & Golf Course is in the vicinity. This campground has it all. There are some nice whitewater spots on Little River.
Ferndale Acres sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November; January is when it's the driest. A lake close by is Lamprey River Reservoir; a good spot like Pawtuckaway State Park is too perfect to leave out. The magnificent selection of local
attractions, and all the outdoors recreation are great reasons to come. Going for a weekend of camping here in New Hampshire is something you have to do. There's so much to do close to Ferndale Acres; what a great site for camping it is. Throughout the summertime, highs
commonly are in the 80's at Ferndale Acres. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. Highs during the winter are commonly in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Ferndale Acres.
