This campground is so pretty. This is a popular location for people from Laconia, and close by you stumble on the Pasture Trail which is a nice hiking trail. Golf can be played at Lochmere Golf & Country Club, and on a magnificent day you can take a hike along the Ridge Trail.

November is the month that gets the most rain; February is when it's the driest. The surroundings of this campground have such a vast number of things to offer. At Dolly Copp Big Meadow through the summer months highs are in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop
down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Dolly Copp Big Meadow drop into the 0's. The skiing at Gunstock is glorious; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Butterworth Trail.
