Mountains for a pleasant time. Tenney Mountain has delightful slopes and a friendly staff; in the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Newfound River River. Rollins State Park is a wonderful site to visit on a pretty day;
there's some flowing water close by, Tenmile Brook is a stream you can have a look at while here.
