The 62 trails of Mount Sunapee are all cool and are served by 10 good ski lifts. The altitude   difference is 1,510 feet, and this ski mountain boasts 8 feet of good snow per season. Sugar River has a class II-III segment of whitewater nearby. The 2.8-mile-in-distance North Newport to Route 103 portion is good to kayak. If you don’t want to risk getting covered with water this segment of Sugar River is probably not for you.
