You'll meet a lot of folks from Fryeburg here, and a tremendous location for whitewater paddling is Ossipee River. Take a hike on the Weeks Brook Trail. Be careful coming to Cove Camping Area, you might not ever want to go home again. Very tremendous water scenery is available at Swans Falls Dam near Cove Camping Area, and some of the water nearby flows, like White Lot Brook. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. Have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Kearsarge Trail, and Wards Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Summertime highs at Cove Camping Area mostly tend to be in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Cove Camping Area temperatures descend to the 0's. Cove Camping Area regularly gets lots of precipitation; November is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is September.
