Skiers enjoy Tenney Mountain; it's a pleasant ski hill. You find the 1.6-mile-in-length Ayers Island dam to Coolidge portion of   Pemigewasset River nearby; this is a grade II(III) whitewater part. This part of Pemigewasset River is not a spot for novices to come whitewater boating single-handedly. Always check circumstances ahead of going whitewater boating given that whitewater boating is a treacherous endeavor.
