Beech Hill Campground is a top selection with people from Twin Mountain. This is beyond doubt a pleasant campground. Go for a hike on the Nubble Mountain Trail, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Baby Twin Trail. Ammonoosuc River is a nice whitewater spot near Beech Hill Campground, and a brilliant view of striking North Sugarloaf is available. Some people stay here through their spree to Franconia Notch State Park. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. The Turtle Brook Trail is a wonderful hiking trail in the neighborhood of Beech Hill Campground; there's whitewater on Ammonoosuc River for all you adrenaline junkies. From a rainfall point of view Beech Hill Campground is a reasonably normal location; through August this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. As if Beech Hill Campground wasn't sufficient, you can also go hiking, and whitewater paddling, so you won’t get bored.
