Going for a hike on the Piper Trail is always a nice adventure; there's a good forest called Pine River State Forest. Throughout the summer months at Beaver Hollow Campground temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's while overnight lows are mostly in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Beaver Hollow Campground   dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Lovell River is a pleasant whitewater spot right next door to Beaver Hollow Campground, and on a perfect day you can take a hike along the Weetamoo Trail. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you get bored of Beaver Hollow Campground, you could also visit close by Black Pond, and do check out Frenchman Brook since you're here at Beaver Hollow Campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun things in the vicinity of Beaver Hollow Campground. Beaver Hollow Campground is right next door to Pawtuckaway State Park which is a charming site. Nothing beats kicking back at Clows Beach, and why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Indian Mound Golf Club. This campground is always a pleasure. If you don't mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ossipee River, and there are glorious places to look at along the Hammond Trail. Go for a hike on the Carter Ledge Trail, and if you're looking for a beach close by we recommend Allen Albee Beach. What would winter be without some skiing at King Pine, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Ossipee. Beaver Hollow Campground gets a good deal of water; the wettest month of the year is usually November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is January. This is such a stunning campground. You certainly ought to stop at White Lake State Park if you're here at Beaver Hollow Campground, and there is a perfect hiking trail close by called the White Ledge Trail.
