There are some great whitewater spots on Pemigewasset River - North Fork, and from Ammonoosuc Campgrounds you acquire a tremendous sight of North Sugarloaf. a great place to stop by. There's loads of outdoors recreation available around here such as fishing, hiking, swimming, and whitewater paddling, so getting bored is not something that is likely to happen. So many local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation will without
doubt have you coming back repeatedly. The workforce that manages this campground and loads of cool things to do are pretty mind-boggling. Loads of folks camp here when they come to check out Franconia Notch State Park. There's no way somebody can get bored here in the White
Mountains. Go for a hike on the Black Brook Trail, and Franconia Notch State Park is a nice site. Ammonoosuc Campgrounds gets a common amount of annual rainfall; August is the wettest month with most rain while February is generally the driest month. This campground is so good.
There is a perfect hiking trail near Ammonoosuc Campgrounds called the Baby Twin Trail, and a lake nearby is Zeacliff Pond. High temperatures at Ammonoosuc Campgrounds through the days of summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. During the winter the highs are typically in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Ammonoosuc Campgrounds.
