At Thomas Canyon you don’t see much rainfall; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is August. This campground is so magnificent. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Truckee River, and the Mount Rose Trail offers hiking at its best.
Thomas Canyon is in the vicinity of Lake Tahoe Nevada State Park which is a gorgeous place. Nevada is a good spot for outdoors people.

| that is likely to happen. Throughout the days of summer here at Thomas Canyon, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's with night lows in the 40's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Thomas Canyon.

Lakes are delightful; Alexander Lake is a lake that's close to Thomas Canyon, and since you're here you can play some golf at Rosewood Lakes Golf Course. The personnel that runs this campground and the
perfectly taken care of facilities makes the journey here worthwhile.
Any time is a magnificent time at Thomas Canyon if you adore the outdoors. You beyond doubt have to stop at Dayton State Park since you're here at Thomas Canyon; a golf course nearby is Rosewood Lakes Golf
