West Yellowstone Koa Kampground, Montana   We stayed at the KOA for 4 nights and enjoyed the area. The KOA staff was helpful giving us directions to trail heads in the Lionshead area and along the Continental Divide. Nice location for this campground. If you get bored of West Yellowstone Koa Kampground, you could also explore nearby Beaver Ponds, and the snow is great at Big Sky. At West Yellowstone Koa Kampground enjoyable stuff to do is plentiful, and lots of people like     to come here to escape. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at West Yellowstone Koa Kampground; of all the months in a year January is the one with the most snow, and October is the month with the least moisture. If you have a thing about the outdoors, you won’t be disappointed; there's hiking, whitewater paddling, fishing, and swimming, so you won’t run out of things to do. Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! West Yellowstone Koa Kampground rocks! The Kirkwood Trail is a fine hiking trail close to West Yellowstone Koa Kampground, and paddling on Madison River is so much fun. If the weather is great here at West Yellowstone Koa Kampground, you can go for a hike along the Little Tepee Creek Trail, and if you're dropping by from West Yellowstone, you won't be the only one. Targhee National Forest is a   nice location; nearby you hit upon the Skyline Trail which is a pleasant hiking trail. Camping out unquestionably is a great thing to do, and West Yellowstone Koa Kampground is a great local campground if you happen to be in Montana. During the warm months at West Yellowstone Koa Kampground highs are mostly in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to West Yellowstone Koa Kampground. The personnel who's always there to help out and all the enjoyable stuff to do are reason enough to come here. Scores of folks select this campground to have a look at nearby Henrys Lake State Park. Some of the water close by flows, like Buttermilk Creek; if you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Madison River. The brilliant variety of local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are fine reasons to come. Going for a hike on the Little Wapiti Creek Trail is always a splendid adventure, and Henrys Fork has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by. While visiting this region in Montana it's a great idea to go for a weekend of camping too. West Yellowstone Koa Kampground is liked by the folks of West Yellowstone. This campground is so scenic. There is a good hiking trail near West Yellowstone Koa Kampground called the Cabin Creek Divide Trail, and Henrys Lake State Park is a wonderful spot to visit.
