| | The folks who watch over the campground and the skillfully managed operations are a good draw for scores of folks. A campground like this is too splendid to miss. Going for a hike on the Doris Creek Trail is always a great adventure. Lakes are splendid; Lost Lake is a lake that's right next door to Smith Camp. Head up to Blacktail Mountain and strap some skis to your feet; you can run the rapids of Flathead River - Middle Fork. At Smith Camp you don’t see much precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout June, and the driest of the months is October. |
Everybody loves Wild Horse Island State Park, and you can go for a hike on the Alpine Trail. This campground is so splendid. A spree to West Shore State Park rejuvenates the soul, and taking a little trip to nearby Peaceful Bay is a great idea. There's just no way anyone can
| get bored here at Smith Camp. Stoner Creek is a stream that you may bump into while you're here, and there's wonderful hiking along the Jimmie Ridge Trail. The good local attractions and the nearby outdoors recreation are certain to keep you coming back repeatedly. Some of the things you can do here at Smith Camp are whitewater paddling, hiking, fishing, and swimming, so running out of fun stuff to do won’t happen. regenerated. Good hiking is available along the Columbia Mountain Trail, and there's whitewater on Swan River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Get your heart beating on the splendid whitewater of Flathead River; there are plenty of people from Lakeside here at Smith
Camp. Camping out unquestionably is a pleasant thing to do; Smith Camp in Montana is such a perfect site. In Montana you never run out of outdoors fun stuff. Glacier National Park is a good national park. Lots of folks stay at this campground when going to West Shore State
Park. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Smith Camp, and during the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs throughout the winter are mostly in the 20's, and night lows during the wintertime for Smith Camp tend to be in the 10's.
