| Campground temperatures dip to the 10's. You can run the rapids of Mill Creek next to Outpost Campground; you'll possibly meet some folks from Missoula here. The positive environment and the good quality of everything here have folks coming from far and near.
Lots of people camp here when they come to take a look at Frenchtown Pond State Park. Not much rainfall falls here at Outpost Campground; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest.

attractions in the vicinity and all the outdoors recreation will make you happy you came.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Outpost Campground. Take a hike on the Blue Mountain Equestrian and Hiking Trail, and if you're here, you could
also pop by pretty Finley Lakes. It's completely out of the question to get bored in Montana if you go for the outdoors. This campground is so beautiful. Gotta ski! Montana Snowbowl is a great site to do that; hiking along the Houle Creek Trail is magnificent fun.
If the weather
is fine here at Outpost Campground, you can go for a hike along the Mill Creek Trail, and a perfect spot for whitewater paddling is Kootenai Creek. Outpost Campground is an old favorite with the people from Missoula.
