From a precipitation point of view Madison Arm Resort is a relatively typical place; January is when you get the most snow here, and October is the month     with the least moisture. There's brilliant hiking along the Gneiss Creek Trail. All through the warm days of summer here at Madison Arm Resort, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's, and the nighttime is quite chillier of course, typically in the 40's. All through the winter highs are generally in the 20's with temperatures at Madison Arm Resort dipping down into the 0's during winter nights. If you're here, you might as well pop by Madison Valley, and drift down the rapids of Madison River in a kayak. The positive surroundings and the splendid quality of everything here are reason enough to come here. The great local attractions and the great variety   of outdoors recreation will definitely have you coming back over and over. This is such a wonderful campground. You'll meet a lot of folks from West Yellowstone here; Madison River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by. There are so many enjoyable things close to Madison Arm Resort, and camping is such a fun thing to do, and this is a great spot to do that. This is no spot for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Going for a hike on the Little Tepee Creek Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and Targhee National Forest is both splendid and delightful. Good hiking is available along the Skyline Trail, and Henrys Lake State Park is a great site to visit on a wonderful day. Don't leave Madison Arm Resort without first going for a hike along the Kirkwood Trail, and Horse Butte is clearly visible from Madison Arm Resort. Paddling on Henrys Fork is so much fun; you can go for a hike on the Cabin Creek Divide Trail. Madison Arm Resort is a top pick campground with people of West Yellowstone.
