Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Boulder River - West, and Custer National Forest is worth taking a look at.
From a rain point of view Livingston Koa is a quite normal place; the month with most of the rain is May, and February is when it's the driest. Very stunning scenery and splendid skiing is what you get at Bridger Bowl. This campground is so pleasant. Lots of folks from Livingston come to Livingston Koa, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Pyramid Trail.
There's such a vast number of things to do at Livingston Koa including hiking, whitewater paddling, swimming, and fishing, so it's not possible to get bored. The great folks who control this location and all the amusing stuff to do attract folks from near and far.
