| | There is so much enjoyable stuff close to Lake Shore Lodge; it is a tremendous campground. What would winter be without some skiing at Moonlight Basin, and places like Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park are fine to stop by. Not much rainfall falls here at Lake Shore Lodge; the month with most of the rain is May, and February meanwhile is the driest month. For the period of the winter highs are generally in the 30's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Lake Shore Lodge temperatures sink to the 10's.
