by the Dry Creek Trail, and Harriman State Park is both great and picturesque. Deadman Creek flows through this region, and do have a look at Smith Lake, it's a beautiful lake. This is in fact a magnificent campground. Good hiking is available along the Lightning Creek Trail.
So many local attractions and such a large number of things to do are certain to keep you coming back over and over.
