Glacier Campground, Lewis Range, Montana

| | We must all go for a weekend of camping now and then, and Glacier Campground in Montana is such a glorious place. Head up to Big Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and Glacier Campground is close to Whitefish Lake State Park which is a beautiful place. Several folks stay here so they can go to Glacier National Park. Coming to this campground is always a great idea. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Glacier Campground; Howe Lake Trail is a tremendous local trail, and since you're here, you could also stop at beautiful Lion Lake.

is so gorgeous. Wayfarers State Park is both pleasant and pretty, and it's in the vicinity of Glacier Campground, and Flathead River - Middle Fork has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby. Life's too short to enjoy all the enjoyable things close to Glacier Campground.
| Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Lewis Range. There's magnificent hiking along the Columbia Mountain Trail; dropping by Glacier National Park is just something you need to do if you haven't yet. So many local attractions and such a great variety of outdoors recreation are great causes to come.
At Glacier Campground all through the long summer days highs are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; night lows at Glacier Campground throughout the wintertime mostly plunge | |

into the 0's. All year is a delightful time in the Lewis Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. Why not take a refreshing hike along the South Boundary Trail, and paddling on Swan River is so much fun. Among the things you can do near Glacier Campground are whitewater paddling,
fishing, playing golf, swimming, and hiking, so it's just not possible to get bored.
So much amusing stuff right next door to Glacier Campground, and it is a glorious campground. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Glacier Campground is right by the Doris Creek
Trail; Glacier View Golf Club is a golf course nearby. Take a hike on the Ousel Peak Trail, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Flathead River - Middle Fork.
The folks who look after the campground and loads of amusing things to do have scores of folks coming here. Camping
in Montana is such an enjoyable activity. Around Glacier Campground you don’t get a lot of rainfall; during the month of December you get the most snow around here, and April is the month with the least moisture.
The great folks of Coram like to hang out close by; Swanberg
Mountain is easy to spot from Glacier Campground. The Lewis Range scenery is always gorgeous.
